Three arrested after early-morning disturbance at Islamorada resort
Monroe County deputies arrested three men after responding to reports of a disorderly disturbance at the Hadley Resort + Marina in Islamorada. Deputies were called to the property around 6:30 a.m. Sunday following complaints about an ongoing ruckus, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office said. According to witness accounts provided to deputies, the disturbance stretched from about 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., during which the three men allegedly fought among themselves, banged on other guests' doors, threatened to engage other guests in fights and activated a fire alarm when there was no apparent emergency. One witness reported the group became combative when asked to respect other guests' sleep. Deputies located the three men quickly and took them into custody at the scene. The arrestees were identified as Christopher Alan Staseiwicz, 35, of Naples; Keith Vincent Stasiewicz, 34, of Boynton Beach; and Christopher David Wilson, 31, of Cape Coral. All three face charges of disorderly conduct and of intentionally activating a fire alarm when no threat existed, as documented by the sheriff's office. The sheriff's office provided the account of events and the charges. No additional outcomes, an undisclosed area results were included in the agency's report at the time of release. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent an undisclosed area.
