Woman kll in early-morning stabbing inside Brickell high-rise
A woman was found fatally stabbed inside the Solitair apartment building in Brickell after a call reporting the incident at about 4:45 a.m. Friday. Miami Fire Rescue personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene while a large Miami Police Department presence remained at and around the building through the morning. A resident on the same floor reported encountering police tape, officers and a substantial amount of blood, and said only one elevator appeared to be working during the response. Police say the investigation is domestic-related and detectives are continuing the probe; no charges have been released at this time. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
