Undercover investigation at West Palm Beach club leads to manager's arrest on cocaine charges
West Palm Beach police arrested the manager of a local adult entertainment club after an undercover probe into on-site cocaine sales. Investigators with the department’s Street Crimes Unit conducted covert buys inside the club and later charged the manager following a second reported transaction.
According to a probable cause affidavit, undercover officers first purchased a small quantity of cocaine at the club during an April 10 contact when an associate moved the buyer into a bathroom to complete the exchange. About five weeks later, on May 15, officers returned and the affidavit alleges the club manager met an undercover officer, escorted him into a bathroom stall and handed over another small bag later field-tested positive for cocaine.
Agency action included plainclothes entries using audio and video recording devices, observed security procedures at the venue, and two controlled purchases that police say produced baggies testing positive for cocaine. Arrest paperwork identifies the manager as the person who provided the second bag; the manager was taken into custody more than four months after the alleged transactions.
Allegations in the affidavit describe who handled the transactions and contain results of field tests; court filings and the arrest record reflect the charges. Records also show the arrested man is on hold for another agency related to a separate case. No convictions or court outcomes are reported in the available records.
