Two teens arrested after pre-arranged fight leads to sh00ting at Hialeah complex
Two 17-year-olds were taken into custody Wednesday morning following a sh00ting sparked by a pre-arranged fight at the Aquabella residential community near Northwest 91st Avenue and 170th Street. The confrontation began shortly after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday when a handgun was produced and multiple rounds were fired, police said. Witness statements and physical evidence indicate shots were aimed at a person fleeing on foot and toward an occupied black Chevy Tahoe, with a round striking the driver’s side; authorities reported no injuries from the gunfire. The suspects, identified as Luis Padilla Delatorre and Michael Isaac Delgado, face felony counts including attempted second-degree murder with a deadly weapon/firearm and sh00ting/throwing a deadly missile and could face 15 to 20 years in prison. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
