Two men wounded, one in custody after Quick Road shooting in Kanawha County
Kanawha County deputies are investigating a shooting that was reported around 5 p.m. Saturday in the Quick area on Quick Road. A 911 caller reported two men arguing and that one had been shot in the leg. Deputies later located a man with arm and chest injuries at the property; investigators say he lives there and allegedly shot the other man.
Medics transported the injured resident to a hospital; the man shot in the leg was later found, taken into custody and also taken to a hospital. Charges are pending and the investigation remains active.
All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
