Two arrested in Hialeah in connection with thefts of dozens of mail items
Hialeah police arrested two people after investigators say they took at least 50 pieces of mail from a neighborhood, including envelopes containing credit and debit cards. Officers identified the suspects during the probe and took them into custody following follow-up investigation and interviews. Authorities allege the stolen mail contained financial cards belonging to dozens of residents; no injuries were reported. The suspects have been charged with theft-related offenses and are being processed as the case is prepared for prosecution. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
