Two arrested after $2,700 in purchases made with compromised benefit accounts at Doral Sam’s Club

Miami-Dade sheriff’s deputies arrested two people after investigators say the suspects used compromised benefit accounts to buy more than $2,700 worth of merchandise at a Sam’s Club in Doral. Deputies took the pair into custody following the investigation and the alleged purchases. No injuries were reported and no further damage was noted. The case remains under investigation and the suspects are in custody to be processed and face charges related to the alleged fraud. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
