TRAFFIC FATALITY, HIT AND RUN: NORTH POST ROAD
On September 4, 2026, at around 9:16 pm, the Anchorage Police Department (APD) responded to the area of N Post Road between N Sitka Street and N Wrangell Street for a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a Jeep Cherokee. The adult male motorcyclist, identified as 25-year-old Miguel Pagan, was declared deceased at the scene. Next-of-kin notification procedures are complete. The driver of the Jeep fled the scene in a different vehicle. This is being investigated by the Major Collision Investigation Unit. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to call 311.
