Toledo man pleaded guilty in May 19 Toledo assault

A Toledo resident pleaded guilty in a case stemming from an assault at a home in Toledo. Court records show the defendant withdrew a not guilty plea on Sept. 30 and entered guilty pleas to two counts of felonious assault.
The victim was stabbed twice at a residence on Brooke Park Dr. just before 7 p.m. on May 19. The defendant was found down the street in a driveway on Jackman and was taken into custody following the incident.
A judge found the defendant guilty and referred the case for a presentence investigation. Bond was continued and sentencing was scheduled for Nov. 13. A competency hearing on July 22 had found the defendant competent to stand trial.
