Three men arrested after disturbance, fire alarm activation at Islamorada resort

Three men were arrested after deputies say they caused a multi-hour disturbance at a resort in Islamorada, Monroe County. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says guests at the Hadley Resort + an undisclosed area reported an ongoing ruckus that began overnight and prompted calls to deputies around 6:30 a.m. According to the sheriff’s office, the men — identified in booking records as Christopher Alan Staseiwicz, 35, of Naples; Keith Vincent Stasiewicz, 34, of Boynton Beach; and Christopher David Wilson, 31, of Cape Coral — allegedly spent about four hours engaging in disorderly conduct. Deputies reported the behavior included fighting among themselves, banging on other guests’ doors, threatening other patrons and activating a fire alarm “for no reason.” Agency action was to respond to multiple complaints and arrest the three individuals. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office charged each with disorderly conduct and intentionally activating a fire alarm when no threat existed; those allegations are attributed to the agency’s account. Records show the three were being held without a listed bond in MCSO jail facilities in Plantation and Key West at the time of reporting. The matter remains in law enforcement custody as documented by booking records and the sheriff’s office release. No further outcomes, injuries, or case results were provided in the agency statement. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent an undisclosed area.
