Teen charged in Little Havana sh00ting that wounded 15-year-old
Miami police say a 15-year-old was sh0t June 14 near Riverside Park and later taken to a hospital with a tourniquet applied to his leg. Officers found three spent casings at the scene and say two masked, shirtless suspects approached the victim and one displayed a gun with a green laser before the victim was struck. In August, police arrested 17-year-old Donald Centena, who is charged as an adult and faces counts including attempted second-degree murder. Detectives interviewed two witnesses during the investigation; one victim later told detectives the sh00ting was targeted, and the first victim disclosed past affiliation with the group Little Havana Taliban. The case will proceed through the adult criminal process. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
