Shooting in West Dallas left two critically injured; third hospitalized

Two men were shot and taken to hospitals after a shooting in West Dallas in the Pueblo Street. Dallas police and fire-rescue units responded to a call at about 5 a.m. and found two males with gunshot wounds on the street and sidewalk in front of a home. Both were transported by Dallas Fire-Rescue with serious injuries.
Shortly after the scene response, a third male arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound; officers were dispatched to determine whether that case was connected. Investigators said a disturbance occurred before the gunfire. Crime scene technicians recovered multiple shell casings and officers canvassed nearby homes for surveillance footage.
Assault detectives processed the scene and closed the street to traffic while the investigation remained ongoing. No suspect information or motive was released; anyone with information was asked to contact the Dallas Police Department.
