Shark Valley Reopens After Firefighting Efforts
County Crime Watch reports that firefighters successfully contained several brushfires in the Shark Valley area, allowing the park to reopen after a day of intense firefighting efforts. The fires, which started along the Miami-Dade and Broward County line, were brought under control on Monday.
