Scooter rider in serious condition after early-morning crash in Miami
A man on an electric scooter was struck by a vehicle and taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after crews found him at Northwest 17th Avenue and 28th Street. Miami Fire Rescue arrived at about 5:20 a.m., treated the 31-year-old at the scene and transported him to a hospital in serious condition with multiple injuries. It was not clear whether the driver stayed at the scene. Authorities are investigating the crash.
