Princeton cold-case homicide reopened after DNA advances
Princeton police announced that a cold-case homicide file from January 19, 2012 has been reopened. Officers say a woman’s body was found inside an abandoned, condemned building near Mercer Street in Princeton; the manner of death had been ruled a homicide and no arrests were made after the original inquiry.
Investigators cited recent technological improvements, including advances in DNA testing, as the reason to re-examine evidence and seek an arrest. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the case to contact the Princeton Police Department.
