Pedestrian struck and kll on southbound Florida's Turnpike in SW Miami‑Dade
A man standing outside his stopped vehicle on the right emergency shoulder of the southbound Florida’s Turnpike was struck and kll early Wednesday when a southbound Honda Civic hit him, Florida Highway Patrol said. Troopers closed all southbound lanes at the scene; lanes reopened by about 6:30 a.m. The man died at the scene and his name has not been released. FHP is investigating the crash; no charges have been reported and further details have not been released, as the probe continues. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
