Pedestrian struck and kll on southbound Florida's Turnpike in Cutler Bay
A person standing on the emergency shoulder of the southbound Florida's Turnpike was struck and kll by another vehicle, authorities said. The collision occurred near Southwest 216th Street, prompting closure of the southbound lanes at that location. The Florida Highway Patrol responded and has the scene; southbound traffic remained blocked while officers worked. Officials did not report any charges at the time and said they were handling the investigation and scene clearance. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
