Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Train in Charleston

A person was struck and killed by a CSX train near the intersection of Chesterfield Avenue and South Park Road in Charleston around 3 p.m. Sunday. Charleston police responded to the scene and confirmed the fatality; investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
