Motorcyclist kll in early-morning crash with cement truck on Don Shula Expressway
A motorcyclist died after colliding with a cement truck on the southbound Don Shula Expressway in Miami-Dade County around 3:33 a.m. Tuesday, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said. The impact sparked a fire on the motorcycle, and the rider — identified only as a man — was pronounced dead at the scene. Southbound lanes near the Killian Parkway area were temporarily closed for the response and have since reopened. FHP said no other details were immediately available and investigators are continuing to examine the crash.
