Missing North Fort Myers chld located safe after sheriff's search

Lee County deputies searched in North Fort Myers for a missing 9-year-old boy and later confirmed the chld was found safe. The Lee County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) led the response after reporting the youth as missing while on foot in the Monte Isola Way area.

LCSO initially described the chld as a 9-year-old male, 4'8" and about 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The agency said he was last seen wearing a red polo shirt and blue pants.
