Miami loses RB Marty Brown and WR Joshua Moore for season; several others injured in Wake Forest win
No. 6 Miami will be without running back Marty Brown and wide receiver Joshua Moore for the remainder of the season due to injuries sustained during last weekend’s 33-20 road victory at Wake Forest. Brown was injured in the second quarter; Moore’s issue was not identified until after the game. Star receiver Malachi Toney was limited in the second half, running back Mark Fletcher Jr. exited in the fourth quarter, and defensive lineman Ahmad Moten briefly left with a shoulder issue before returning. Linebacker Ezekiel Marcelin Jr., who recorded four tackles and a quarterback hurry in the game, is expected to miss several weeks with a lower-body injury; coach Mario Cristobal said he was heartbroken for the affected players.
