A large fire destroyed a vacant building that formerly operated as a gentleman’s club on W. Northwest Highway in Dallas on October 2, 2026. Dallas Fire Rescue said crews were dispatched just after 3 a.m. to the 2100 block and encountered a fast‑spreading structure fire.

Firefighters upgraded the incident to a second alarm by 3:30 a.m. after discovering fire hidden in multiple void spaces, then pulled crews from interior operations and used ladder trucks and ground lines to attack the blaze. Eastbound and westbound lanes of Loop 12 and Northwest Highway near the scene were closed during response.

By 7 a.m. DFR reported the fire was mostly contained, and at 7:45 a.m. the department declared it extinguished. DFR said there were no occupants in the building and no injuries; the cause remained undetermined.
