Marathon operation targets unlicensed contracting work
On Aug. 19, Marathon building officials coordinated with state and local enforcement in an operation aimed at individuals suspected of offering contracting services without required credentials. The city and the state’s regulatory agency provided location support and suspect information as part of the effort, which city leaders say is intended to protect residents and ensure compliance with licensing rules.
