Man from Killeen died in two-vehicle crash at H.K. Dodgen Loop in Temple
A 26-year-old man from Killeen died in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Northwest H.K. Dodgen Loop and Industrial Boulevard in Temple. Officers were dispatched about 1:29 p.m. on Sept. 25 after reports of the crash. Temple police identified the victim as Joshua Tillman-Lemons and Justice of the Peace Larry Wilkey pronounced him dead at the scene.
Investigators said an eastbound box truck and a northbound passenger vehicle collided in the intersection. A person who had been in the box truck was transported to a local hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening. Temple police said the crash remained under investigation.
Family members reported Tillman-Lemons was a father of two; his relatives have set up a GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses.
