Man Convicted in Battery Incidents Arrested Again in Miami-Dade

A man previously convicted in a series of disturbing battery incidents in Miami-Dade stores has been arrested again for a similar crime. Sean Edward Uribe, 37, was arrested on a battery charge in connection with the most recent incident that happened on August 17 at the Ross store. The victim, an employee of the store, reported feeling a warm squirt of a substance on her back. Detectives identified the suspect as Uribe from surveillance footage and DNA testing of the substance. Records show Uribe had been arrested in May for another similar incident at the Marshalls in Town and Country. The sheriff’s office is investigating further connections between the incidents and the suspect. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
