Man charged with second-degree murder in Brickell homicide ordered held without bond

A judge ordered 36-year-old Stefano Cremascocicero to remain in custody after prosecutors charged him with second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of his mother in Brickell. In bond court, his attorney did not contest pretrial detention after learning Cremascocicero was subject to an ICE hold. No additional details about the incident, injuries beyond the victim’s death, or a motive were released. Cremascocicero will remain jailed as the case proceeds through the criminal system. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
