Man arrested in Miami Gardens accused of posing as ICE agent, threatening food truck staff

A man has been arrested after investigators say he impersonated a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent and threatened employees at a Miami Gardens food truck. Authorities identified the suspect as Jonathan Gonzalez Reyes; he faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault and impersonating an officer. Surveillance video reviewed by investigators reportedly shows Reyes arriving in a vehicle with blue flashing lights and wearing what appears to be a badge and a holstered firearm. According to the business owner, Reyes first approached the operation months earlier, claimed to be a high-ranking ICE official, loudly referenced undocumented workers and attempted to offer immigration help in exchange for money before the owner asked him to leave. The suspect is in custody and facing prosecution on the listed charges. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
