Man arrested in Land O' Lakes after alleged hidden cameras captured family members

Pasco County deputies arrested a Land O’ Lakes man after court documents and a sheriff’s report say investigators found multiple clandestine recording devices and images inside his home. The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office responded after the man’s wife discovered a cell phone belonging to him that contained AI-produced pornographic images of her and other family members, according to a PCSO report and court records.

Court records allege the 41-year-old placed recording devices at the bottom of doors and inside a trash can to capture people undressing or using the bathroom. Investigators documented multiple incidents of video voyeurism and filed criminal charges listing nine counts of video voyeurism on a chld under 16 and one count of unlawful use of a two-way device, per the charging documents.

The agency booked the man into the Pasco County Jail; court records show a judge subsequently ordered that he have no contact with the identified victims. The records further indicate he has since posted bond and been released from custody.

Allegations in the charging documents and the PCSO report describe the installation and intended operation of the devices; those allegations are what the sheriff’s office presented to prosecutors. The case status in public records reflects criminal charges filed and pretrial conditions set by a judge, with further court proceedings documented in Pasco County court files.

All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
