Man Arrested After Being Found Exposing Himself Near Lehigh Acres chld Care Center

A man was arrested in Lehigh Acres after being accused of exposing himself near a chld care center, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office reported. Deputies responded to a complaint just after midday and took the suspect into custody at the scene.

According to the agency report, deputies were dispatched at approximately 12:28 p.m. after a motorist reported driving her 4-year-old daughter to the Lehigh chld Care Center. The driver told investigators that when she turned onto East Point Drive, she observed a man standing near the road without pants and exposing himself. The chld reportedly alerted her mother by saying the man had no pants on.

Deputies located and contacted the man near the access road to the school, which the complainant said placed him about 50 to 60 feet from the chld care center. The sheriff’s office identified the arrestee as Henry Merson Jr., 49, and said he remained without pants when deputies arrived. Merson was taken into custody and booked on a charge of indecent exposure.
