Key Largo woman accused of speeding with Co. Caine and Fent in vehicle on Alligator Alley is the subject of a verified Collier County public-safety update.
A Key Largo woman was arrested Tuesday after a traffic stop on I-75's Alligator Alley in Collier County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Michelle Thaimy Llerena, 30, was stopped after she was accused of speeding at 98 miles per hour in a Cadillac near mile marker 89 at 12:08 a.m. Troopers said during the stop, they detected a strong Canna odor and saw other indicators inside the vehicle that led to the discovery of multiple baggies and metal cylinders with different colored powdered substances. They were identified as Co. Caine and Fent, according to FHP. Llerena was taken to the Collier County Jail and faces multiple charges, including trafficking Fent and possession of substance paraphernalia. She has also been charged with possessing controlled substances without a prescription.
