Hialeah man arrested on lewd-molestation charge after alleged incident during Lowe’s kids’ workshop
A 65-year-old Hialeah man was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious molestation after a 4-year-old girl reported being touched Saturday afternoon at a Lowe’s store while attending a kids’ workshop with her mother. According to investigators, the mother briefly lost sight of her daughter near a cash register, then saw her running back and observed an older man leaving the store; surveillance footage reportedly shows the man and the chld behind a clothing rack. The girl later told her father the man had touched her and lifted her skirt; detectives arrested the suspect, identified as Cremades, who appeared in bond court where a judge found probable cause, appointed a public defender and ordered no contact with the victim or the store. Cremades is being held without bond, is subject to an immigration hold, and is scheduled for another hearing Thursday; Lowe’s said it is assisting local law enforcement. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
