Henry Flagler's 1912 Arrival in Key West Drew Massive Crowd
On Jan. 22, 1912, industrialist Henry Flagler arrived in Key West by private railcar, drawing about 10,000 people to the depot area to mark the completion of rail service to the city's terminus, Florida Keys Weekly reports.
