The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office held a promotion ceremony this week elevating four deputies to the rank of sergeant. Sheriff Frank Priddy commended the group for sustained effort and commitment; one honoree noted she has spent twelve years alongside many of the newly promoted officers.

The promotions include two brothers, Ricky Tally the Third and Michael Talley, who received their sergeant badges at the same time. Colleagues described the event as recognition of long-term teamwork and dedication within the county force.
