West Palm Beach woman arrested on felony charges after alleged threatening texts
A West Palm Beach woman was arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office on felony charges after deputies say she sent multiple threatening text messages to a man and his wife. The agency alleges the messages included threats to cause death or cause serious bodily harm and that the texts were exchanged after a personal relationship ended.
According to the sheriff’s office, the sequence began when the man ended communication with the woman on Sept. 25. Deputies say the man reported receiving a series of messages through the TextNow app later that day and again the following morning. The affidavit states some messages were directed at the man’s spouse and that the content and context identified the accused as the sender.
Investigators allege they linked the messages to a phone number recently associated with the woman in prior law enforcement reports and that the complainant had communicated with her exclusively through that number. Based on their inquiry, deputies determined there was probable cause to arrest and charge the suspect with written or electronic threats to cause death or cause bodily injury and unlawful use of a two-way communications device to facilitate a felony.
The charges and the arrest are documented by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office; those allegations appear in the probable cause affidavit and the agency’s report. The case status, as recorded by deputies, is that the woman was arrested and charged; no adjudication or further disposition is reported in the available records.
