A motorcycle rider was died Wednesday afternoon after a collision on Highway 501 near Dodge Lane in Horry County. Emergency crews from Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the crash at about 3:15 p.m., and the county coroner later reported blunt traumatic injuries as the cause of death.
