Driver flees after striking two juveniles on e-bike in Northwest Miami‑Dade
A driver struck two minors riding an electric bicycle and left the scene late Wednesday in Northwest Miami‑Dade. Deputies say the crash occurred as a northbound vehicle on Northwest 7th Avenue made a left turn onto Northwest 117th Street and hit the boy and girl, who were found lying on the roadway and unresponsive. Miami‑Dade Fire Rescue transported both victims to Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition, and the Traffic Homicide Unit has taken over an active investigation.
