Doral pursuit ends in crash near train tracks; suspect taken into custody
A vehicle pursuit began in Doral when officers attempted a traffic stop and the driver nearly struck an officer, according to police. The driver led officers on a chase and crashed near train tracks, where he was taken into custody at the scene. Police later discovered the man was wanted on a Polk County warrant for grand theft. Authorities say they will coordinate with Polk County regarding the warrant as the local investigation and booking proceed. All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
