sh00ting INVESTIGATION: an undisclosed area DATE/TIME OF INCIDENT: August 29, 2026, approximately 11:00 PM NARRATIVE: At approximately 11:00 PM on August 29, 2026, officers responded to the an undisclosed area in reference to a sh00ting. When officers arrived, they found an adult male with gunshot wounds to the upper body. Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The victim’s identity will be released once next-of-kin notification procedures are complete. Detectives have contacted everyone believed to be involved in this investigation and are not looking for anyone at this time. The preliminary investigation shows this appears to be an isolated incident. The circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation. APD CASE: 26- 22832 All individuals mentioned in criminal allegations are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. Details may change as local agencies release additional information.
