Amazon halts flights with 21 Air after deadly Miami cargo plane accident
On Sept. 6, Flight 7598, a Boeing 767 operated by 21 Air, ran off the runway at Miami International Airport and struck a van carrying five people. Five people were kll and five others were wounded. Amazon says it has paused its partnerships with 21 Air while authorities investigate and crews begin dismantling the aircraft at the scene. The company says it will continue to support the investigation; several lawsuits have also been filed in connection with the crash as the probe and legal actions proceed.
