About 20 Vehicles Vandalized Overnight in Gladeview Gated Community
Authorities responded early Thursday after residents discovered multiple vehicles with smashed windows in a gated community in Gladeview near Northwest 22nd Avenue and 79th Street. Video from the scene shows several cars surrounded by glass and debris; residents estimate about 20 vehicles were hit and at least some personal items, including baby supplies, were taken from one car. Officers went door-to-door waking residents to notify them of the break-ins and began processing the scene. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office was contacted for additional information as the investigation continues.
