A Fort Wayne woman was arrested after a courtroom outburst following a sentencing tied to a May 2025 beating at Pike’s Pub. Court records and law enforcement reports identify the woman as Chrystal Zuber-Campbell and connect her actions to the proceedings where one defendant had just been sentenced.

According to court filings, the outburst occurred as Douglas Zuber — one of six men charged in the Pike’s Pub attack — was being placed in handcuffs after receiving a prison sentence. Court documents say a video of the attack was shown during the hearing; Zuber had previously pleaded and was sentenced to prison for his role. The filings allege Zuber-Campbell began shouting in the courtroom, approached the bar area, and demanded information about what had happened.

The Allen County Sheriff’s Department identified the woman as Zuber-Campbell. Court records allege that when officers directed her to leave the room and wait for counsel, she ignored the instruction, interrupted subsequent proceedings, and “forcibly attempted” to enter the well of the courtroom. The documents further allege she resisted being handcuffed when officers attempted to secure her.

Zuber-Campbell faces misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement, and a first hearing is scheduled in the case. Other men charged in the 2025 Pike’s Pub beating remain pending trial dates.

All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
