Naked man accused of indecent exposure at Marion County business; Ocala resident arrested

A 53-year-old Ocala man was arrested after security footage reportedly showed him nude in a public walkway near a vending machine at a Marion County business. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to the property after a woman reported being watched while walking through the parking lot.
According to the arrest report, the woman told deputies she saw the man standing near a vending machine watching her and that he was “completely naked” and “pleasuring himself.” The victim retrieved her boyfriend, who then observed the man peeking around the vending machine and staring at the victim. The boyfriend’s reaction reportedly prompted the man to run back into his room.
Deputies reviewed surveillance footage on Sept. 18 that the report says showed the man first wearing shorts while smoking and looking toward the victim, then later exiting his room naked, walking to the vending machine, touching himself, and retreating to his room before returning naked and being seen by the victim’s boyfriend. When deputies contacted the man in his room, the report says he denied going outside without clothes and refused to discuss the incident.
The subject was arrested, booked into the Marion County Jail and charged with indecent exposure of s3xual organs. Jail records show he remained in custody on a $2,500 bond and had a scheduled Marion County court appearance on Sept. 30.
