Milton man arrested after online solicitation sting in Santa Rosa County
A 64-year-old Milton man was arrested in Santa Rosa County after communications with undercover agents posing as a minor, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement says. The arrest occurred on Sept. 10, 2026, when FDLE took the suspect into custody following an online solicitation investigation.
FDLE reports the probe began in August 2026. During that period, the man engaged in online conversations with what he believed was a chld; FDLE says the accounts were operated by two undercover agents. According to the agency, the suspect requested s3xual activity from the chld persona and offered to pay for a video showing the acts.
The agency charged the man with one count of online s3xual solicitation of a minor, one count of promoting the s3xual performance of a minor, and one count of using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony. Those are the allegations FDLE has documented; criminal charges are what the agency filed, and the facts listed in the charges reflect FDLE’s account of the communications.
As of the arrest, FDLE reports the suspect is being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail without bond. The investigation remains active, and FDLE is handling follow-up investigative work related to the online contacts and the materials described in the affidavit.
