Clay County deputies arrested four people after a traffic stop where officers said they found Methamp, cocaine and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Deputies said they initiated the stop after pulling over the driver for failing to stop at a stop sign and then learned the driver, identified by the agency as Rocky Shuman, told deputies he was driving with a suspended license. The Sheriff’s Office said deputies found meth during a search of Shuman. A subsequent vehicle search allegedly turned up cocaine and what deputies described as a trafficking amount of meth inside a cup near the center console.

The agency reported additional finds during the search: deputies said two passengers were holding milkshakes in which officers allege they discovered concealed drugs, and that one passenger, Kierstyn Yarboro, had small bags of drugs inside her milkshake. The Sheriff’s Office said one substance presumptively tested positive for Fent and that another passenger, Justin Palerino, was holding burnt aluminum foil commonly associated with smoking narcotics.

Charges listed by the Sheriff’s Office show Brandy Cain was charged with trafficking Methamp and several drug counts; Shuman, Yarboro and Palerino were each charged with various controlled-substance and drug equipment offenses, and Yarboro was also charged with violation of probation. Those allegations and charges were reported by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
