Fort Wayne man charged with kidnapping and chld molesting after Silver Alert recovery

A 24-year-old Fort Wayne man has been charged in Allen County with kidnapping and chld molesting after police located a 13-year-old girl from southern Indiana with him following a Silver Alert. Court records show the girl told officers she had been persuaded over several days to meet the suspect and travel to Fort Wayne.
According to court filings and police reports, the girl told the man she was 13 and he allegedly replied, “We will have to keep it on the low.” Authorities say they located the victim with the suspect after the Silver Alert prompted a search. The girl told police the two had intercourse on two occasions while together, an allegation documented in the court record.
The defendant appeared in Allen County court on new charges of chld molesting and kidnapping. Those charges, as listed in the court documents, carry a combined potential sentence of up to 46 years in prison if convictions occur. The filing dates and the report of the court appearance are recorded in the public court record cited by police.
Agency actions described in the records include issuance of the Silver Alert, law enforcement locating the pair, and filing of the new criminal charges. Beyond the allegations in police and court records, no proven convictions or sentence outcomes are documented in those records at this time.
