Bonita Springs man arrested by Collier deputies on chld s3xual battery, human trafficking charges
A Bonita Springs man was arrested by deputies with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office on accusations that he sexually assaulted a minor and trafficked a chld, according to court records and law enforcement statements. Deputies say the case began after a student reported to a school therapist that she had been performing s3xual acts in exchange for a vape pen.
Court records state the victim and a friend began messaging a man on Snapchat in 2024. The records say they later met the man at a gas station, where the victim alleges the man raped her. Subpoenas to Snapchat identified a suspect, and deputies say the victim positively identified him in a lineup.
The suspect, identified in court records as Ismael Castaneda-Loarca, 22, was arrested by Collier County deputies on Monday. He is charged with s3xual battery of a person younger than 18 and human trafficking of a chld under 18, per the records. These are allegations as documented by the sheriff’s office and court filings.
At this time, law enforcement reports the arrest and the charges; court records reflect the investigative steps of the therapist report, Snapchat subpoenas and a lineup identification. No convictions or case dispositions are documented in the available records.
