Doña Ana County officials have opened an online damage-assessment portal after heavy rain and subsequent flooding affected areas across the county. The Doña Ana County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) made the portal available so residents can report damage to homes, vehicles, businesses and other property, the county said.

According to the county, the portal is intended to document the impact of the recent heavy rainfall that caused widespread flooding and damages throughout Doña Ana County. Residents are asked to use the form to register losses and provide details about property or business impacts; the county said the information will help document the scope of the event.

The county also provided a phone option: residents may call 211 for assistance with the assessment form Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The OEM made the online form available at donaana.gov/DamageAssessment.

At this time the documented actions are limited to making the assessment portal and phone support available and requesting resident submissions. The county’s statements describe the reported flooding and resulting damages; those characterizations are attributed to the Doña Ana County Office of Emergency Management. The portal remains the county’s active tool for collecting damage reports and documenting impacts.
