A Davenport man was arrested in Davenport after a video was discovered showing a chld in a bathroom. Court documents identify the suspect as Dylan Claussen, 27, of Davenport, and allege he recorded a video on his cell phone that showed a partially unclothed chld in a bathroom.

According to court paperwork, investigators also found a second video of the same chld on the phone in which the chld was fully clothed. The documents state the videos were placed in the “My Eyes Only” section of Snapchat. The charge listed in the court filing is s3xual exploitation — cause to engage.

Scott County authorities set bond at $25,000 for Claussen, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 13, as recorded in court documents. Those are the documented procedural actions: arrest, charge, bond amount, and hearing date.

Allegations described in the court documents are that Claussen recorded and stored the videos; those remain allegations in the charging papers. No conviction, plea, or trial outcome is reported in the documents, and no additional factual claims about motive, injury, or other outcomes are provided in the court paperwork.

All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
