Creola resident arrested on multiple chld pornography counts, MCSO says

A Creola man was arrested in Mobile County on multiple chld pornography charges following an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office reported. The suspect, identified in booking records as 23-year-old Landein Collin Hearn, was taken into custody and booked into the Mobile County Metro Jail on ten criminal counts.

According to the sheriff’s office, the probe began in August after the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children alerted local ICAC investigators to suspected chld s3xual abuse material that had been uploaded to Snapchat. Investigators say they identified Hearn as a suspect and executed a search warrant at his residence on the morning of the arrest with assistance from the department’s Special Operations and Crime Scene units.

Booking records cite five counts of unlawful possession of chld pornography and five counts of dissemination of chld pornography. Those are the allegations documented in the sheriff’s office report and the county jail records; they have not been proven in court. The sheriff’s office described the probe as ongoing.

At this time, the publicly documented status is an arrest, formal charges recorded in county booking records, and an active investigation by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office. No court dispositions, victim identities, or additional outcomes were included in the documented materials provided.

All individuals accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
